Delivery, Returns & Refunds Policy  
(Part of our full Terms and Conditions – last updated January 2026)

Order Process, Dispatch & Delivery / Shipping Policy  
- When you place an order on luxuryelectronics.co.uk, we will send you an order confirmation email promptly (usually immediately or within a few hours). This confirms receipt of your order but does **not** yet form a binding contract.  
- We process orders quickly: Orders are typically **dispatched on the next working day** after the order is placed (Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank/public holidays), subject to:  
  - Full payment cleared.  
  - Stock availability.  
  - Successful verification (e.g., fraud checks, address validation).  
- If we cannot dispatch on the next working day (e.g., due to stock issues or weekends/holidays), we will notify you by email with an updated timescale.  
- **UK delivery**: Goods are delivered within **3 working days** after the order is placed (using standard tracked services from reputable couriers like DPD, UPS, or Royal Mail Signed For).  
- **EU delivery**: Goods are delivered within **7 working days** after the order is placed (subject to customs clearance; any import duties, VAT, taxes, or additional fees are your responsibility and not included in our prices).  
- Delivery times are estimates only and not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays due to carriers, customs, weather, strikes, or force majeure events.  
- We provide tracking details by email where available. Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery (or attempted delivery).  
- If delivery is significantly delayed beyond our stated times, contact us immediately

Inspection on Receipt  
Inspect the goods immediately upon delivery. Report any visible damage, defects, discrepancies, or issues within **48 hours** by emailing us with photos, your order number, and details. Luxury electronic products are high-value — handle carefully during unboxing and inspection.

Returns, Cancellation & Refunds  
We comply with the **Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013** and **Consumer Rights Act 2015** for distance sales.

**Change of Mind (14-Day Cooling-Off Period)**  
- You have the right to cancel and return most goods for a full refund (excluding original outbound delivery costs) within **14 days** of receiving them, without giving a reason (unless an exception applies).  
- Exceptions (no 14-day right):  
  - Sealed audio, video, recordings, computer software, or electronic items once the seal is broken (for hygiene/protection reasons).  
  - Bespoke, personalised, or custom-made goods.  
  - Goods that become mixed inseparably with other items.  
- To cancel: Email us within 14 days of receipt with your intent to return (include order number).  
- Return goods **unused**, in **original packaging**, with all accessories, tags, manuals, and seals intact, at your own cost (use insured, tracked shipping for protection).  
- Once we receive the returned item and confirm it is in the **same condition as when we sent it** (no damage, no signs of use beyond reasonable inspection, all components present, no missing items), we will process a **full refund** (purchase price minus original delivery fees) to your original payment method **within 5 working days**.

**Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Goods**  
- If goods arrive faulty, damaged, not as described, or incorrect, you have stronger rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 (e.g., repair, replacement, price reduction, or full refund).  
- Notify us within **30 days** for short-term right to reject (full refund possible).  
- We cover reasonable return shipping for faulty/incorrect items — provide photos/proof when reporting.

**Refund Process**  
- Refunds go to the original payment method used at checkout.  
- We process refunds **within 5 working days** of confirming the returned item's condition (for change-of-mind) or fault (for defective items).  
- Your bank/card provider may take 3–10 additional days to show the refund in your account.  
- You will receive an email confirmation once processed.
